I'm not gonna overreact to this one but man this team is so frustrating on home court. It's been a playoffs problem for years.

Inexplicable to be down 14 at home as huge favorite

It feels like the Celtics have had their best lineup on the court for 10% of this game.

Every time you look up multiple of Kornet, Tillman, Hauser, Pritchard, etc. are out there vs. the Cavaliers best players

We do this game 2s so whatever.

Cleveland can get hot though. Holiday just needs to slow Mitchell down next game.

Mazzulla is lucky Celtics fans coddle everyone involved with the team in a way that no other team in the city does because i'm comfortable saying he's the worst coach any of the four teams have and one has never even coached a game yet.

You can only get away with this shit for so long until you run into a team that has enough talent and good coaching.

Fans sounded pretty quiet and lame even when it was close or we were winning compared to Game 1.

This is the best team we'll play this postseason. That being said if we get past Cleveland we'll still let NYK take us 7 of course and the finals would also be a lock to go 7.

2nd half stats:

10-14 from 2
1-16 from 3

It's a coaching issue. These guys feel like they have to force three point attempts even when they are ice cold and are getting buckets whenever they want in the paint.

It's a coaching issue when they keep going under screens and giving up open three point attempts when that's the only way teams can beat you.

It's a coaching issue when in the 2nd quarter you have Luke Kornet, Payton Pritchard and Sam Hauser all out there on the floor together.

I could go on as well. Do you know how sorry you have to be at your job to make J.B Bickerstaff look good?

lmao predictable blame the coach garbage after every loss, never gets acknowledged when all the players insistently give Mazzulla credit after wins though. Everybody’s favorite player Derrick White leads the charge there too

Y’all really did expect them to run the table going into the finals, wild

This is a players league, the heat have the best coach and got their dicks cut off and served to them. If the team wins it’s on the players and if they lose it’s on the players.

I promise his 4th quarter lineup was awful. And he didn't get his best players back out there when the game was still winnable. He just let them get rolled.

It's sleepwalking into moving traffic thinking the Mazzulla stuff is just blame the coach garbage. They constantly lose games both offensively and defensively the same way, that's on the coach. The defense is more concerning of the two. With the kind of defensive talent on this roster, it should be able to bail out the offense on nights they go cold but it doesn't and it's because of how badly they defend the three point line.

Since Mazzulla became coach, the Celtics opponents are shooting 46% from three in the 11 playoff losses they have had. This is what he wants, they were one of the worst teams in the league this season for opponent three point attempts. You get to the playoffs and suddenly teams start making it a point of emphasis to attack that and they have the guys who can shoot to punish it. The Cavs aren't even that great of a three point shooting team but they have guys who can shoot.

I agree with you that they'll win this series but a potential playoff series with the Knicks should scare everyone. That's one where the coaching is going to matter a lot more.

no credit when he wins, all the blame when he loses. No credit for players developing under him.

Preposterous. It’s tired.

Oh wow they sometimes lose when the other team gets really hot from 3? Groundbreaking insight. Welcome to the f***ing league lmao
