When Bednar says that someone "tweaked something" it's usually long term.Looks like a whole lot of nothing. Could he have pulled or strained something on the drawn?

Bednar said in the post game presser that Landy was never close to come back

Never close to play in this series or the next. As for playing next year, they are very optimistic.Time to hang ‘em up and LTIR.
As long as we get the contract of our russian "party tiger" of the books, we are fine. That contract is not going away, no matter how much people here might hope so.
Bednar named Mitts when asked who is banged up but never mentioned Makar. Will Makar get surgery for his lingering issue or has it been decided that surgery isnt an option?
Doubt they tell us. Haven't been doing that for a few years.Alright, let's hear who was playing with an injury.
Actually his NMC ends after the 24-25 season, so if he sucks we can dump his greedy assNever close to play in this series or the next. As for playing next year, they are very optimistic.

Definitely MackAlright, let's hear who was playing with an injury.
The Makar was hurt stuff came from comments Cale made at the beginning of the season.Bednar named Mitts when asked who is banged up but never mentioned Makar.
That whole Makar needs offseason surgery thing was completely fabricated by fans on this board.
It shocks me that Av's fan even think he was healthy. All you have to do is go to youtube, and watch any of the Cale Makar highlights videos. He looks levels (skating, pivoting, cuts, turns) above from 2022 and before compared to this year. His skating looked very different this year. Not a chance Cale was healthy.
If he wasn't healthy after a full off season of rehab, and looked very upset that he wasn't able to fix his hip issues, he's not gonna be healthy after 82 games plus some physical playoff games where he was being targeted for big hits.
All year he spent a good deal of time before each period loosening up his hips, and had many plays that left him grimacing on the ice or on the bench, that a healthy player would have been fine with.
The fact he was able to skate well enough to not look too "off" is a testament IMO to the medical staff, and to Cale's competitive nature to battle through it.
If Makar was healthy, it’s a pretty huge concern quite frankly. It shocks me that Av's fan even think he was healthy. He wasn't. The Avs IMO won't reveal a thing about it so players don't target it, but even Stevie Wonder could see he played the entire season in pain.If Makar was healthy, it’s a pretty huge concern quite frankly.
