You have five minutes from when a pick was otc to trade the pick moving forward. This rule has a small bit of leniency (couple mins max because wifi sucks sometimes)

Anyone who advertises a trade, or if i become aware of trade nggotiations for a post selection trade that took place while the pick was otc for more than five minutes, the trade will be veto'd and both gms will have their next pick moved to the end of the next round.

Use the rule, don't abuse the rule, and otc pick trading is fine. The harsh rule is for GMs who draw negotiations out, as you are then clearly online. If you send me a screenshot of a trade offer sent before you were otc and you said accepted right when you came online, I will also accept that.

TLDR:
- 5 minutes, with small degree of leniency for OTC trading
- You can go over, if you accept a prediscussed deal immediately when online
- Prearranged trade agreement where a GM had a deal contingent on player X (original gm can just post the player to keep draft moving if other gm is offline along with a screenshot of BOTH GMS saying accepted)
- Advertising OTC negotiations after 5 minutes forfeits your pick until the end of the round

Sorry, won't happen again.

Edmonton acquires Drew Doughty and an 8th round pick from Anaheim for Vince Dunn and a 9th round pick. @Beardoffice to confirm.

Trade veto’d. McMullet trading privileges removed.

I was trying to follow the rules. I didn’t trade for Doughty until he had already been picked. Didn’t realize that was considered OTC trading.

Again, I apologize and it won’t happen again. But that seems like a really extreme judgement.

I’m open to trading up I have two early 7’s and 9’s (I think)

Canes

Also would consider trading down from early 7th to late 7th/early-mid 8th if I can move up later (like from R11 to R9 or something)

@TribalPhoenix you know this isn't a keeper league or anything, right? it's just a draft to build the best possible team for the 2024 Stanley Cup, nothing else?

Well aware. I built a list, and have guys I think will break out. My first pick was a 27 year old goalie, my 5th pick a 30 year old defenceman. I also have guys I think are undervalued and could contribute bigger than most think.
