Hopefully Angels do us another favour tonight.
He looks pretty average in mary brownsRomano actually looks terrifying lol I'd never want to run into him on the street at night
Vlad and Teo were overdue for a HR.
Hopefully Bo is next. Hasn't hit one in 17 games
Why does it matter? We’re not catching the Yankees.
Jays: no home runs, no win.Vlad and Teo were overdue for a HR.

LOL!!!John has to drill into the young players heads, and some not so young like Teo, that you have to play like this all the time if you want to be a playoff team.
I'd rather Gurriel be what he is now than for him to try to hit more HRs. This is why I've been saying to drop him to #5 in the lineup behind Kirk and Teo and ahead of Bo/ChappyWould be nice to see Gurriel hit one too. He has 5 on the season.

Kirky is slowly losing that locked in spot he held in our C platoon moving forward. It's hard to justify carrying him over 2 guys that don't need a DH spot regularly. We need him and Kirky to get going again, they have been slumping badly lately. I think they are the best pure hitters on this team. Gurriel is hitting well overall, but he needs to do more "damage". Slugging only .400 on the season.

Mitch White brought a new-ish slider to Toronto when the Blue Jays acquired him at this year’s trade deadline. He also brought a nerdy approach to pitching. That should come as no surprise. The 27-year-old right-hander had pitched in the Los Angeles Dodgers system since being selected in the second round of the 2016 draft out of Santa Clara University.
At the end of the day, the most important part of pitching is keeping runs off the board, and Berríos hasn’t been up to the task this year. But there’s room for optimism, because for the most part, he still possesses the tools that made him an effective starter for years. The Jays and Berríos mostly know what’s wrong. They’re trying to work on his fastball locations. But I wonder if they could skip that entirely and just find a new pitch mix that works better.
Note: All statistics in this article are through games of 8/28. Berríos made another start last night and took my advice, throwing his four-seamer only 16% of the time. He still gave up ten hits (though no home runs) in 5.2 innings.

He’s be complaining about catching on one knee, shifts, and lack of bunting. Why is that fishing trip so expensive? I mean, someone can go on vacation to Key West, fish, for a lot less than that. Sure, you won't get Buck Martinez with you but is it really worth it? I have nothing against Buck, I am glad he is back in the booth with Dan, but man. Why would you pay so much money for that?
