Phelps threw over 30 pitches two days ago

I don't think he's your first option out of the pen but you could use him if absolutely needed IMO.

I.e. if Garcia gets two outs but runs into trouble, you might be able to get Phelps in for that last out.

Sure was .. at that point given the Jays have had issues with RISP tonight I like the aggressive play call.

Force Boston to make a good throw .. and they didn't. Could be the difference.
