Gausman has an ERA under 3 before today. He’s been exactly what the Jays signed him for. His ERA in SF that got him this big contract was 2.81. Before this outing it was 2.91

If we somehow scored 3-4 runs in the bottom of the inning Schneider would have a lot to answer for and Thornton would be sent down again. I don’t get why we even bother with him. We have a track record on him and he blows… get rid of him

At one point though the starters need to pitch some innings. I mean the bullpen had to pitch 12.2 innings in this series and the guardians bullpen had to pitch 5.1 innings. You can't have starters who throw only 4 innings on a regular basis like that. If you do you'll have to dig into your bullpen and you'll have to use some guys who are not very good.
