f*** some of you are so negative all the time. I’m glad I don’t have to watch a game with you. All negative, all the time. Is life this f***ing bad for some of you?Offense is complete trash. Game over
He put his knee down before getting the ball, but he also had to be there to catch the ball.
Sanchez blocked the whole plate where was Merrifield had no where to slide
Thanks for try clarification
Guys do that at 2nd base too and it's never called. SS puts his entire leg in front of the base as a guy is trying to steal he has nowhere to get to the base and the SS tags him out.
It's REALLY a stupid rule. But they let you block any base/plate with any part of your body as long as you have the ball. I'm shocked that was overturned
It's a stupid rule. You're not allowed to block any base, just home plate. They changed this rule a few years ago to allow blocking only with possession to try and end the old "truck the catcher at home as if it's a football game" by giving runners a path to the plate that wouldn't require them to bowl the catcher over and cause injuries, but it remains dumb that you can block home at all when you can't do the same at 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
You should be able to "block" advancement ot any base including home plate with your glove if the ball is in it, so that it's like a "slide into the tag" scenario, but physically positioning your body in the way to prevent the guy from getting to the base while you attempt to apply the tag should be illegal.
Well until hockey and football this is all we havef*** some of you are so negative all the time. I’m glad I don’t have to watch a game with you. All negative, all the time. Is life this f***ing bad for some of you?
