With Pop and Bass (probably) down there in the wings it's not like before where this became a chance to waste one of the "good" relievers and leave them in a situation where someone worse has to come in to a higher leverage situation.

Holy hell can we stop this. There isn't a reliever in baseball worth a top 5 prospect. Why is everyone so eager to give him away for free. I'm actually lost.

My apologies, I have seen that line of thinking too much for real this week and was gun shy.
It's also not a Brad Hand situation - his underlying numbers were ugly in Washington before the deal and it just spiraled. Bass meanwhile has both looked great and performed great and seems to have really discovered something in the slider.
