Horwitz seems like the kind of player a team like Oakland would want in a trade package for Montas (older, SABER friendly, almost major league ready), kind of like Kevin Smith.

Is there a date they’ll be dropping the requirements? The NHL teams drove across the US border to avoid testing. Seems silly now.

To my knowledge that was because the U.S still required pre-departure testing before flying across the border. Canada dropped the pre-flight testing requirement earlier this year, while the U.S recently did it back in June. Being fully vaccinated to travel across the border without isolating is still required by both countries.

For being fully vaccinated in order to travel across the border? Why would/should they? If anything Canadian public health authorities and the CDC should revise their "fully vaccinated" definition to include a third "booster" dose.
