Gausman was totally tipping his pitches. As soon as they pointed it out I started watching and I was able to call all of his pitches from that point on, too, just by watching his wind up. He snaps up and straightens whenever he throws a fast ball, and he does a funny little bounce whenever he throws the splitter.
But as bad as that was, I attribute more of this loss to the defense. Like half of the Twins' runs came from those errors in the first. How the hell does nobody on the coaching stuff not yell at the fielders for not wearing their sunglasses? Can't nobody on this team afford proper shades? Seriously, I bought mine for road glare from Amazon for like $25.
