Vladdy definitely getting better at finding those low and away pitches. Hope he's turning a corner. Kikuchi although with a good game against a good team. Keep it up!

Addendum reminder that presuming the game isn't postponed to any degree, the scheduled first pitch is ONE HOUR EARLIER than is normal. So if we're getting underway at the regular time be sure to show up at 6pm Eastern or 3pm Pacific.

I don't know if it's the team or our management. We have 3 minor leaguers in the lineup every night. That should be unacceptable.

Because we're down 2 regular OF tonight and if nothing else Zimmer is a very good defender, which helps in an OF where the most tenured guy (Gurriel) is also the worst regular.

Collins is a career negative fwar player, he's a certifiable minor leaguer.
Zimmer, Tapia, Collins, Heineman. 3 of those guys are in the lineup almost every night for the past month. It's embarrassing for a contender.

Collins has a 117 wRC+ right now. Of the guys who have 50PA or more the only guys better this year have been Vlad and Springer.
The negative fWAR is because he's an awful, horrible catcher, but the bat was legit to start, and he's still mashing balls even if they're not dropping. Him off the bench or in the DH spot is no issue whatsoever imo.
Tapia doesn't bring anything for me. Zimmer at least has +defense, and speed for a PR as he can't ever get on f***ing base. Heineman... is here because Jansen is hurt and Collins is so so bad defensively.
