When rosters go back to 26 and Ryu is healthy what happens to Borucki? Saucedo and Thornton are probably the first 2 to go down to get to 26(despite how well Thornton has done). Tough time finding a 3rd one to go when Ryu is back instead of Borucki. Perhaps Merryweather because he has an option?

Borucki has no options, so it won't be him.

Borucki also hasn't been very good for a while, and almost everyone in the pen either doesn't have options(Phelps, Garcia, Richards, Stripling) or is someone you wouldn't demote to keep Borucki(Romano, Mayza, Cimber). Optioning Merryweather is probably the only reasonable decision and it's probably what will happen but that's not fun either.
