Bo's approach seems to change with every AB right now. Just needs to eventually fall on the one that works.

He'll be alright. Would prefer Vlad in the two hole tho

2. Vlad

4. Bo

I feel like Bo doesn't really like hitting in the 2nd spot he was brilliant in the 4 spot last year

Granted at least two of the times he was on deck with the bases loaded. Not like we're facing Joe Maddon.

Blair and Barker are 99.9% certain Vlad simply doesn't want to. Feels like he's being rushed in his first at bat, but it's insanity to me. ~20 extra AB's, and more likely to be "the guy" in late situations as we've seen already a bunch. Virtually every podcast they say something like "you gotta think Charlie talked to him again saying, wouldn't it have been nice to have you at bat there"

Bo will be okay though he'll figure it out eventually. He was in a slump in like August last year then he exploded in September

No doubt he'll figure it out, but I'm starting to think his ceiling isn't what we thought it was unless he changes his approach.

He simply can't take a pitch, and pitchers are starting to take notice and not give him anything to hit until 2 strikes because he always puts himself in a bad position.

Sounds silly to me, if that's true. Has Vlad or Charlie actually said this publicly?
 
Chapman's bat is coming around as he gets more loose.

That's a very good sign. Even if they don't get the 40 HR guy he was in Oakland it still looks very good.
 
Romano doesn't have it tonight.

Can't say I blame him. Trotting a closer out this much and expecting him to close the door seems unsustainable
