The OBR rule concerning the steps allowed was changed in 2006/2007 to allow a lateral step. I could cite from every single manual but that does not seem to persuade anyone anymore. So here is a cite posted by one of our resident experts in July 2019—and a link to that thread--1) You're not supposed to disengage from the rubber until you release the ball. He comes off it twice as he shuffles back and forth.
2) The pitching motion is supposed to be a smooth and continuous towards home plate (or at least continuous towards the ultimate direction of home plate to allow for things like guys wrapping back or torquing heavily). He starts and stops and goes back and forth multiple times
His delivery is illegal in multiple ways, and more egregious than other pitchers who have had to alter their deliveries to conform to umpire demands. But somehow he's allowed to keep it.
Reese was pretty good at choking up thoughHoly shit Collins. I like him a lot better than Reese
Collins has been awesome at the plate so far. I couldn't understand the pick up at the time
Reese was pretty good at choking up though
I don’t even remember Espinal being considered that great a defender as a prospect.WTF Espinal is a defensive god.
But sometimes he would get over-excited and grip the stick a little too hard.
Damn Espinol is so valuable - where did he even come from?
