Winning close games and coming from behind to win are signs of a very good team.

The fact we're 10-5 while not playing our best baseball shows how much potential this roster has.

When we get Teo and Jansen back, This team is going to be a big problem.

Yessir. Pitching has been great outside of a couple of trouble spots to open the year, bullpen has been absolute money and the offense hasn't actually been bad at all considering how hobbled its been.

Very positive signs through the first 15 games.

Winning two low scoring games in Houston?

What’s next, we sweep the Rays at the Trop?

Man the baseball god's are really making it up to the Jays this year with all these 1 run wins early.

Great win, good job Manoah and bullpen!
Tbh it feels like the baseball gods are against us with the awful umpiring, and we're only like this because of excellent pitching and defense. When did we become the Rays?

Imagine if this keeps up AND the bats begin to click again?

yeah and we have the 6th best run differential in the AL but 1st place. Compare that to last years insane run differential but missing the playoffs, we are getting more close games to go our way which is a good sign of a winning team. Even the umps can't stop us.

I know it's only April 23rd but how about that bullpen eh!

Romano - 1.13 ERA, 9 K & 8 SV in 8 innings
Phelps - 1.59 ERA & 6 K in 5.2 innings
Garcia - 0 ERA & 5 K in 7 innings
Cimber - 2.25 ERA, 6 K & 1 SV in 8 innings
Richards - 1.59 ERA & 7 K in 5.2 innings
Mayza - 1.59 ERA & 6 K in 5.2 innings
Thornton - 1.13 ERA & 6 K in 8 innings

Merryweather is the only sloppy relief pitcher so far but hopefully he can bounce back. Borucki also just got activated off the IL to retire Brantley today, if he reaches his potential he could be a great weapon for the Jays as they really need another strong lefty in the pen outside Mayza.

These last three wins would've all been loses during the majority of last year

This is what wins ball games though. Having a loaded offence is fun and sexy but ultimately, it's good pitching/defense that wins championships

This big time. I wanted to say everything you said in these 3 lines. This is nowhere near what the Jays are capable of and yet, we're 10 and 5.
