ye ive never seen a player with less hustle given what his strength as a player is.Tapia is somehow becoming one of the least likeable Jays in recent memory, and it’s only been like 2 weeks lol. Usually speed and hustle guys are likeable, but he’s missing the hustle component to that.
The Grichuk trade not looking great at the moment.
Villar? (the reason that 0% of the fanbase wanted him back)ye ive never seen a player with less hustle given what his strength as a player is.
no, tapia. he almost never runs out his groundballs, and considering 99% of the balls he makes contact with are on the ground, its kinda irritating lol. villar is terrible too though lol.Villar? (the reason that 0% of the fanbase wanted him back)
Wait... yesterday was on the manager? Or different games? Two wins the manger has cost this team this year. Fun.
I think that is about taking off the bunt 3-0 (on the assumption that Tapia wasn't bunting on his own)Wait... yesterday was on the manager? Or different games?

I honestly don't think Charlie ever put the bunt on.The game we were up up 6-1 and we lose 12 -6
Yesterday - Zero outs runners on 1st and 2nd, and takes the bunt sign off for Tapia on a 3-1 count, Tapia couldn't hit the ground with a rock if he was standing on it. You know Tapia is a guaranteed out, so leave the bunt on for the entire AB. Runners on 2nd and 3rd puts ore pressure on the pitcher/ catcher than runners in 1st and 2nd. I've never like the way Charlie manages the game.
That's even worse, game management is in the managers hands. giving up an out is not the "in" strategy in todays game but when you got a guy as bad as Tapia at bat... moving the runners along and giving up an out is not the worse strategy.I honestly don't think Charlie ever put the bunt on.
I think some people just like to blame the manager for everything. The game we were up up 6-1 and we lose 12 -6

Like... they lost a game by 6 runs. What is the manager supposed to do to change that?
As for last night, I wasn't against the bunt attempt and wouldn't have hated Tapia trying it, but if you want to blame Montoyo for the loss you have to assume that Tapia would have successfully advanced the runners, that the next batters would have brought at least one run in, and that they would have held on for the win.
Realistically, the offense failing to capitalize on multiple early scoring chances and then getting shut down the rest of the game has a hell of a lot more to do with the loss than Montoyo. That and Bo's late error that allowed Boston to take the lead.
