No idea why Bo does that sometimes. Theres no reason to throw that on one leg. Just stop, clutch and throw. It's not like Martinez is a burner.

It's easily his biggest (only?) issue I've seen. When he takes the ball on his backhand and throws across his body he does that way too often and just airmails it.

He's always done it. Throwing only with your arm is a last resort. Not to be used on a routine grounder. There's a reason why Jeter wasn't a good defender.

well he did 100 % better then his first start. still leaves a lot to hope for but its at least going in the right direction. would have been something horrible if he wasn't able to get out of the first inning or 2 again
 
I'm confused. A Blue Jays pitcher threw a borderline pitch and it was called in favor of the Jays?

Is that allowed? I'm pretty sure that's not allowed. Do the umps know that's not allowed?
That was an excellent job of framing by Kirk. Clear ball and this umpire hasn't been egregious.
