I am really soured on Kirk, his athleticism is so bad for even a catcher that unless he hits for a HR I feel like he hurts us on the bases.

I can live with his base running. It's the smashing the ball into the ground for double plays that has me more concerned.

Yeah, lay off the doughnuts and show him what a gym looks like so he can act like a professional athlete getting paid to do a physical activity so he has the strength to swing through the ball.

i love this team, but i feel sometimes they lack focus in important moments. its not a big deal but i would a bit more bearing down when there are opportunities to get extra runs.
