Nice game for the bullpen.

Romano leads the league in saves.
Garcia leads the league in holds.
Cimber leads the league in wins.

Vladdy not batting second is going to be the new Montoyo complaint.

(Since he can’t screw up the bullpen management as much anymore now that there’s at least 4 reliable arms down there)

I can see it now. Game 7 of the WS, trailing by one run, bases loaded 2 outs, Bo takes what should be ball 4 low but the umpire calls it strike 3, Vladdy left on deck batting third.

This made sense until you wrote Bo takes. You mean swings out of his shoes for the strike out.

Somewhat similar to Ben Revere batting first in 2015.

Damn, is Springer ok? Or is it just a scheduled day off? I don't know if I would give it to him now with Teo out, but OK.
We also don’t know what the timeline is with Teo, if the team thinks he is going to be out for multiple weeks, then Springer is going to need a day off at some point when he’s out.

We faced 2 teams KC and Cleveland in back-to-back years that were just a tad better. Too bad.
No, Cleveland was better than the Jays, but I’ll go to my grave saying that the Jays win that series against the Royals 9 times out of 10. So much went against the Jays and for the Royals that series.

That's fine. If they want to make sure he is healthy for the long run, I am fine with that.

I just feel like KC executed in key times and Jays did not. Like the dropped ball by Goins in game 2. Or not scoring in game 6 with 2 men in scoring position and no outs. The margins were razor thin.

That Goins/Bautista dropped fly ball in game 2 was arguably the turning point of the series. Jays were up 3-0 in the 7th (could've been much more; bases loaded 1 out and zero runs earlier) and Price was absolutely dealing. Leadoff guy gets on via the dropped fly ball and then it was the usual KC singles parade + a double to take the lead.

Hopefully it doesnt come to that but tapia getting an extra at bat just doesnt sit well. Then you add the fact that zimmer and tapia will bat back to back.
