Bo is less patient at the plate and not near the hitter Vladdy is. Springer and Vlad get on a lot so the pitcher will near the zone more often when Bo is at the plate if he's batting third.

Smart teams put their best hitter 2nd.

It's crazy how long he's hung around MLB as a guy who can't run, doesn't have any defensive utility, and has never shown any sort of ability to hit MLB pitching.
