I'm a big believer in the psychology of sports. As such, sfter Merrifield was hit, I send Gausman out to hit their next batter, first pitch. Thrown out by the ump or I pull right after, that's his last batter. Protect your players, I didn't like thd look of the hit on Merrifield, nor the lack of response.

Other than that, they need legitimate set up guys. It's not fair to have your closer get 6 outs with bases loaded. 4 Outs max in the pinch, not 6.

They need more than bats, they need arms. We've known this for years.
