all we can do is hope he succeeds even in a relief roleTime for the Kuch![]()
he did just call him david wells rather than phelps im not going crazy right
yeah i didnt have that option. it was did he did i hear it but thanks for the confirmationI did a little rewind and you're right, with no hesitation either straight up David Wells lol.
What are the thoughts about Matt Chapman? He strikes out way too much. Just drives me nuts at how little contact he makes. But when he does make contact it is hit pretty hard. 3.1 WAR player, 119 OPS+ according to Baseball Reference. Obviously the defence is the best thing about him, IMO.
MLB really needs to implement a strike zone that relays the pitch to the ump in an ear piece so they can start making the right calls going forward, this is getting ridiculous across the league imo.
I guess the Kikuchi experiment will end in 2 years![]()
I'm sure they can call more check swingsBut if they do that then how are umpires supposed to extract petty revenge for imagined slights by players and managers?![]()
I'd rather see Chapman pitch tbhGlass-half full: If he implodes totally today they can leave him in and save the bullpen for Tuesday when it matters.
It absolutely boggles my mind why the Jays continue to march this guy out there.I guess the Kikuchi experiment will end in 2 years![]()
Yeah part of me blames Shatkins, but part of me blames Schneider now too, since he didn't want him going down to the minors even though Kikuchi wanted to.It absolutely boggles my mind why the Jays continue to march this guy out there.
