Another bobbled ball. Perhaps next year they’ll keep the opening ceremony short.
Rangers sat through the same ceremony. Not an excuse Jays can use.
4 runs this offense can get rid of in a hurry but need to lock it down.

So if I remember correctly Berrios started his Spring training games the same way. Struggled to start and got better the longer he went. Would it make sense to use an opener? Maybe Merryweather? Then get 6 out of Berrios.

Come on, you spend big bucks on a starting pitcher and you need to use an opener with him? I hope not. He is a starter. He'll be fine.

I'm definitely not going to panic but holy f*** is it funny after all the hype leading into this game, they come out with THAT.

Berrios is as consistent as the sun rising in the morning. Not even remotely worried.
It is funny after they were crowned champions before the season started. They'll be fine though. That start could have happened to anyone.

That was so typical. Both Chapman and Biggio with a ball they couldn't get out of their gloves. A couple hits that found a hole/grass, Berrios didn't have his usual control.

"Vlad. Jr grounds out on a pitch, how will this affect Auston Matthews' hart chances? find out next on Sportscenter"

Gross.

Not directing that necessarily at the suggestion. Just that I absolutely loathe the idea of an opener.
