I wasn’t a big fan of the signing. Felt they should’ve redistributed the money and found a way to also sign Ray.

Well, that was inevitable. This game could get out of hand.

Is Kukuchi a better option than Stripling as a starter?
He was never a better option than Stripling. This is why I kept pushing for trading Kirk for some pitching. I get it if they got him cheap, but Boras somehow wrangled Roark money out of them. Hell, I called that trainwreck, too. Fly ball pitcher with a career 5 ERA pitching in pitcher ball parks? Yeah, that was going to work in the AL East, lol. Makes you wonder how they fell for that again.

Maybe they should start following my posts, lol.

Starting pitching has been absolute ass 1st turn through. Jays are not alone, though.
It's like spring training ended earlier than usual or something.

Kikuchi hasn't had as much time to work with Pete because of the lockout keep in mind.

Still not exactly encouraging given he doesn't have the resume to suggest a bad start is an aberration like a Berrios or even Ryu

Yeah he's more like Ray or Matz last year. Those both worked out brilliantly, but they were pretty high-risk reclamation projects coming into the season.
