It was a good catch, but Gurriel makes some semi-routine plays look wilder than they are.
 
Okay, Springer's injury woes make more and more sense. I've only seen the guy play for like a couple months and I've never seen someone so bad at falling and diving. Every time this guy slides or dives for a ball he is always twisting or rolling something. That slide to third was very straightforward and he still managed to overextend his shoulder.

Someone needs to teach him how to fall properly.

You mean a guy whose pitches are floaty or too straight is easy to hit? Just like I noted the very first time we saw him pitch in spring training? :naughty:
