Made a thread a few months ago with some pending UFAs whom you'd think would be top priorities for their team to extend. Since then, very few of those names have signed.
List updated for 6 weeks out from the TDL (March 21):

The deadline should be interesting with a lot of teams who are on the outside looking in with UFAs that may generate value.

These teams in my opinion are all out of the race.

Atlantic

• Montreal: Ben Chiarot, Brett Kulak, Chris Wideman, Arturri Lehkonen (RFA), + Paquette and Perreault but those two likely have no value.
• Detroit: Vladislav Namestnikov, Nick Leddy, Marc Staal, Thomas Greiss + Gagner? Stetcher? Dekeyser? Rowney?
• Ottawa: Tyler Ennis, Chris Tierney, Nick Paul, Zach Sanford + maybe Josh Brown
• Buffalo: Vinnie Hinnostroza, Colin Miller, Robert Hagg, Mark Pysyk + Eakin? Caggiula? Butcher?

Metro

• Philadelphia: Claude Giroux, Justin Braun, Rasmus Ristolainen, Derek Brassard + Yandle? Seeler? Thompson?
• Columbus: Max Domi, Joonas Korpisalo + Kukan?

remove Nick Paul and add Zaitsev and Mete available. The problem with Nick Paul is you get back a draft pick that should project/develop into him, so just sign him.

Pysyk is a possibility, Hinostroza less so... Eakin, Miller and Hagg will likely be moved for whatever they can command at the deading. I doubt Butcher or Caggiula have any value but if someone wanted to take them... there is the door.

I could see possibly Stastny staying as a leader for the kids, but Copp is 90% available.
