Canes won 8-1 last night without Aho, Svechnikov, Teravainen, or the injured Pacioretty. It's not about icing an A-team, it's about having depth players like Jarvis and Necas who would be top-line players on a lot of other squads.

Tonight they're rolling out a lineup with maybe 2-3 guys who will make the NHL roster.
