The first couple of games are going to be crucial. It's a classic experience vs. playoff rookies matchup. I wouldn't be surprised if Pittsburgh came out and kicked our teeth in in game 1. What happens the rest of the playoffs would come down to how the kids react. Playoff hockey is different and how far this team goes will come down to how quickly they learn to adapt.

It all depends on which NYR team shows up... if the top players play well and the kids show up enough, it could be over quickly.

But if the Pens and their experience frustrate us, some of our best players vanish or are nursing injuries that aren't healed... it might be quick the other way.

That goes for the following series as well if we get that far.
