You had mentioned even the upcoming generation of stars wasn't enough..those stars didn't actually play in that event.
You are right though...98 team was in the same situation as they are now, which gives these teams a punchers chance against them although our Austrian friend is thinking Miracle on Ice 2021...the sequel. Maybe he's right.
