As crazy as it might sound to some, unless Byfield/Turcotte turn into franchise forwards, I would much rather be us than the Kings right now. You can only ride that Doughty/Kopitar/Quick nucleus for so long before they completely break

Absolutely. Their year was on the strength of their vets for the most part and reminded me of our last season with Carlyle. The kids just haven't shown a whole lot yet, but they are really conservative with them and still have a ton of prospects with good potential.

Man just watching that game 7, how the f*** did LA even make the playoffs? Their D core is easily one of the worst in the league and their forward core is average at best. Hope oilers get smoked next series
