That was my point. There isn’t a 1c availableMaybe Kadri? Don't think he's a 1C but he grew up a Habs fan and could see them signing him

Lol... everyone talking about the vibes being in Montreal... then the pickThe arena is silent lmaoooo
Kadri and Giroux both available. I think maybe they feel they can get one of the two or make a trade for another oneThat was my point. There isn’t a 1c available
Again you're giving Dubas far too much credit. That would be the smart move.....If there’s ever a time to trade a core piece for a top pick, it’s now. I don’t expect it to happen but I’d be calling jersey and trying Willy for 2OA
What, Hughes, Wright, and Hischier is a good combo?I would not have done that but whatever. Lucky Devils.
Far too much credit for pointing out your inaccuracies with the cap assessment? CoolAgain you're giving Dubas far too much credit. That would be the smart move.....
Matthews was the clearly better player though. Not shocked they went with Slafkovsky. This draft doesn't have a Matthews level talent. Laine probably goes one in this class if he's in it. Marner or D. Strome would have had serious arguments for it too.imagine the pivot we would've had to make if we took Laine after arguing Matthews >>> for months
thats a bunch of Habs fans right now lmao

Matthews was much better than Wright, but Laine was much better than Slafkovsky. It's not as egregious, but still really badMatthews was the clearly better player though. The meltdown will be funny, but I don't think they made a bad pick.
