Lots of love for Gustafsson here, I still think Barron surpasses him on the depth chart. Add Zhilkin, whose scouting report reminds me of another Russian born centre whose surname started with a Z.

McGroarty also cannot sign an ELC if he wants to play in the NCAA for the next 3+ seasons.

Judging by the voting Rashevsky is poised to become the biggest riser, going from 17 to the top 10. Looking like Torgersson gets bumped out, and Barron is outside the top 10, in spite of looking like the favourite so far to start the season on the 3rd line with Lowry, after being the leading goal scorer on the Moose in the playoffs. If the current players on the list all get voted in, and with some more prospects on deck, might not see a goalie until the 16-20 range.

Mentioned this on a previous thread, but it's nice as others have commented to see some pretty strong depth in the top ten of our prospect pool again.

Lots of various skill-sets, ceilings/floors, etc. -- It's a pretty solid mix as it stands today.

Nothing strange about that at all.

McG is going to play NCAA this year and therefore cannot sign a pro contract.
There is no particular rush to sign Lambert.

I mean that we are using Gus's injuries as a reason for lowering his ranking... but not having a contract (regardless of reason) seems fine. That's all.

Agreed. I'm voting purely on upside really. How good they are right now only matters to me in terms of 2nd liner, 3rd liner, etc

I do like Barron a decent amount like Gustafsson. Hopefully they can be a new Lowry Copp for us in a way Harkins and Ves couldnt...

Barron should have been higher.

A lock for an nhl job. Not glamorous but a good third/fourth liner.
