Hope Seattle doesn't just have their D box out & wait for King's penalties & mistakes for odd man rushes.

How did that happen?
I looked it up and it says the Kings' GM, Robert Bowlsby Blake, played defenseman in the NHL for 21 seasons. And since he was a RHD, I suppose it has occurred to him on a variety of occasions in the past how important it is to have a good LHD to play next to.
So I am unsettled by this glaring weakness and the inaction that accompanies it.
 
What is this teams core? Doughty, Kopitar, Fiala, Danault and Kempe.

A mis mash of talent with no semblance of coherence. We’re paying $37M for 5 guys, so just under half the available cap for 5/23 spots. Somehow the local media mouthpieces say that the Kings have all the parts to be a champion now. Makes no sense. The upside of this core is also ran. Management would have you believe that the championship window seamlessly opens up in 5 years as the current core is replaced by magic beans.

You know. Everyone minus Rosen and Stephens. And I guess Helene when she comes out of semi retirement twice a year to pen a Kings article. That said, I’m a fan of Nick, Darryl, and Jim. And you, even though your worship of the elite scrubs like Danault, Moore and Mikey get on my nerves. You peaked during the hot tub episode with the half and pumper nichol.

Dools and Hoven are inveterate blowers of smoke up the asses of fans. And DB is too cool for school because he has a magazine with a circulation of 10 households. Stoll and Bathe are solid eye candy for either persuasion.
 
Time to jettison Kopitar to the moon. Guy is such a ball and chain on that line.

OK well unsolicited shots at me notwithstanding...

of all the people you just listed, Helene Elliott, Eric Stephens and Jon Rosen are the only people I would consider "Media"
 
I’m liking the spiciness of the GDT already. Let’s hope the Kings can show an 1/8th of that passion.

Allison says Fiala is a better fit on the 3rd line of the Kings,She's talking out her ass. Kempe would argue that the nice passes have dried up for him since Kevin was moved off the line. As for Kopitar,he's usually the player who drives the Offense. TM has decisions. Lets see the Seattle Kraken host the LA Kings under the Roof
