I've gotta think with Fiala on the "3rd line" that Todd plans to spread the ice time more evenly among the top 3 lines. Which is something many of us have been wanting to see him do for awhile.

Three 2nd lines, and one 4th line.

We don't have first line, because we don't have a 1st line center. So running the lines as if we do, doesn't make any sense.

I'm disappointed that Byfield is still scratched, but happy to see Kupari get some time. If we are going to suck, at least let the kids get some development time.

My eyes are definitely on that Fiala-Kupari connection, that's a lot of speed and pissiness

Kupari has to learn the same thing Vilardi has learned; you have to play with intensity. Be aggressive, be assertive, play fast, it's go go go. It's a mindset.

He has all the tools.

It looks a lot better with Kupari at 3C and Lizotte at 4C rather than Lizotte at 3C and JAD at 4C

Very excited to see Kupari and Fiala play together, down the stretch last season I thought Kupari was playing much better than Byfield and even Villardi, excited to see how he's progressed

Yeah, Kupari was my breakout choice before the season started. I'm glad I lost that bet right out of the gate with Gabe killing it, but I still have high hopes for Kupari this season.

Walker - going from like 3rd on the RHD depth chart when he got injured to about 8th now. Not sure why he's even in the mix.
