We didn't have enough candidates to do best young poster so it's @EdJovanovski.

I'm going to replace it with a more applicable award next year.

So this it, the big one.
While we don't need to drag this out unnecessarily, I suggest extending voting for upwards of another week is productive. Even those of us who check in every day could have blinked and missed it.

Lots of greatness on this board but this one is easily @bernmeister
I am very grateful for the nomination.
Since we are each restricted from voting for yourself, I went w/ @nyr2k2

@RangerBoy is deservedly our most esteemed poster, imo, ainec. Howev, his props are fully covered under most knowledgable.

While most valuable should include posts that offer substance, I think we want to go beyond raw knowledge. Some others nominated do add something, but I had to acknowledge the expertise of @nyr2k2, who has for the longest done a first rate job on keeping track of our prospects, etc.

__________

That said, yes, I qualify b'c I bring seasonal contributions to the board, including every July 4 + Dec 25, while also making unique contributions.
My posts deserve some recognition b'c
1) I bring true, outside the box analysis that adds to the perspective
2) I do this in real time. I don't wait until after the fact to say going all in w/win now rentals = epic fail, I give it to you straight as it happens, if not before, and usually not after.

Now, does some recognition = most valuable?
I don't press that argument.
But I think the board benefits from me, and any others following my approach, and there should be some award for "most creative poster" or something to that effect.

Wait, what am I saying, "others following my approach"?
bernmeister broke the mold
accept no imitations
homage yes, imitations no

aka props to all nominated, and those who weren't but deserved to be

EDIT ADD: typo correct, context add

Been on vacation so missed a lot, and this thread in particular. @Machinehead or @Leonardo87 are both very worthy for different reasons. We should be happy to have them both.
I was pulling so hard for a tie! It would have been been an honor to share it.

If there's a guy to lose to by one vote, it's @Leonardo87. I do a lot of PGT's, which is easy because all you have to do is a poll and make jokes about the game, but I know what a grind it is night after night. We're lucky to have somebody who works so hard on the GDT's. It's not as easy, especially when the team isn't going well. I can smack the team upside the head in the PGT and that's funny. Leo has to be engaging at all times in the GDT.

Of course, the GDT is just the tip of the iceberg and Leo is a top notch dude, but I wanted to highlight that work.
