Tomatoes are fruits, but I'll give it to ya.
Wisdom is realizing pizza is really a salad.Knowledge is knowing that tomatoes are fruits.
Wisdom is to not put tomatoes in a fruit salad.
Unless you have lactose intoleranceEating a piece of pizza does not just make your insides swell up like a balloon.

What do you mean "or"? Of course there is mayo. Lots of mayo*.Potato salad with mayo or vinegar?
I'm not going to go in a long schpeel here on the effect of industrialized foods on our bodies but I definitely agree with the nutritionist. Outright banning players from eating pizza is too far, but it definitely can affect people's bodies in that way. Diet is a very individual thing, but I can tell you that I have a few inflammation issues that almost entirely clear up when I cut out bread and dairy out of my diet. Moreover, now when I do allow myself to enjoy some pizza those symptoms flair up quickly. Very worth it though, pizza is by far the hardest thing to give up.Eating a piece of pizza does not just make your insides swell up like a balloon. It ain't good for you for obvious reasons, but the nutritionist IIRC was implying that it was hampering players' recovery from bumps and bruises. And if you think that's legit I don't know what to tell you. The nutritionist likely knows the right foods to eat from wrong, but that's him delving into areas of expertise he doesn't possess.
I don't know about best, but that's a good choice too. Anything with cheese is a great salad, be it mozzarella (caprese mmmm), or feta, or blue cheese if you want to live dangerously.Not all macaroni salads are good, but a good macaroni salad is the best salad.
Honorable mentions: Potato salad, greek salad, caesar salad
Not a salad, but on the cheese train. Burrata....I don't know about best, but that's a good choice too. Anything with cheese is a great salad, be it mozzarella (caprese mmmm), or feta, or blue cheese if you want to live dangerously.
Eh. Lots of mayo is the number 1 way that people ruin potato salad. But you enjoy.What do you mean "or"? Of course there is mayo. Lots of mayo*.
* with extra mayo.
Agreed...and I like mayo.Eh. Lots of mayo is the number 1 way that people ruin potato salad. But you enjoy.
For potato salad, I prefer it with vinegar (cold and no bacon). But if I'm doing it with mayo, I'm using mayo judiciously and I also might put in olive juice or a little bit of horse radish - garlic occasionally too.Agreed...and I like mayo.
Same with egg salad, chicken salad and potato salad. Too much mayo and it becomes too wet. Not good.
I said that kinda tongue in cheek. Obviously the key to a good salad is the right balance of ingredients.Eh. Lots of mayo is the number 1 way that people ruin potato salad. But you enjoy.
Injuries aren't a vegetable, salad, or a cheese though?I think you guys should move this conversation to the Injury thread.

As for seafood salad, have you tried the Swedish skagenröra? It's one of Sweden's national treasures.
