Flyers still loading up with the addition of Hagg. With Ekblad being put on LTIR they have more space to do more if so desired. Wonder if they will have any picks left?

Florida possibly putting Ekblad on LTIR. How convenient... Glad Florida isn't in our conference. Zito is basically the opposite of Sakic, very aggresive with his ways. While Sakic strikes only when the time is right.

Took two days to get ekblad on LTIR, we aren’t even going to attempt it with landeskog? Joes about to piss away another golden opportunity.

Sakic offered 12 mill for 4 years to Panarin, that contract would have expired when MacKinnon's does I believe. LTIR Landeskog and trade for Kane. He only has one year after this one. It's doable.

The moment Landeskog got hurt, he should've been placed on LTIR. We absolutely do not need him to win the West and should be using that extra cap space. Joe's playing with a little too much class. We don't need classy Joe the player, we need ruthless Joe the GM.

They could do that without the Landeskog LTIR, just need to send Compher the other way and get at least $4.5m retention (almost 50%)

Putting him on LTIR would have stopped the Avs from accruing capspace the past week, so no, he should not have been put on LTIR immediately. Same for Girard. They'll both go on LTIR at the last possible moment, i.e. tomorrow night.

Everyone relax. If Sakic doesn’t make any moves before tomorrow he deserves criticism. Don’t do that thing you always do and criticize Sakic before he makes his move. Remember when everyone was mad at him for letting Landy walk to free agency? Remember how mad everybody was that Sakic didn’t get a top 6 addition 3 hours before he acquired Kadri?

Because I believe that they'll be back in the regular season. Sakic won't use that cap space at the deadline
