Snowfall warning in effect for:
Timespan: This evening to early Tuesday morning.
Remarks: Heavy snow is expected tonight over southern Elk Valley, particularly in the Fernie and Morrissey areas, as an upper trough moves through the region. Snow will become lighter on Tuesday.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warning in effect for:
- Fraser Canyon - south including Lytton
- Fraser Valley - east including Hope
Snowfall accumulations: Up to 10 cm in Eastern Fraser Valley including Hope,
10 to 20 cm in Southern Fraser Canyon including Lytton by Tuesday morning.
Location: Southern Fraser Canyon including Lytton and Boston Bar and Eastern Fraser Valley including Hope.
Timespan: Tonight and Tuesday morning.
Remarks: A low pressure centre will move into southern B.C. tonight bringing occasionally heavy snow and reduced visibility. Snowfall accumulations of 10 to 20 cm is expected by late Tuesday morning when the snow tapers off.
Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.

Arctic outflow warning in effect for:
- North Coast - inland including Terrace
Strong outflow winds and cold wind chill values are expected or occurring.
Wind chill values close to minus 20 tonight and early Tuesday morning
Location: North Coast Inland Sections including Terrace
Timespan: Tonight and Tuesday morning.
Remarks: Strong outflow winds combine with cold interior air will generate wind chill values near minus 20 across North Coast Inland sections including Terrace. The strong outflow will diminish and temperatures will rise later Tuesday morning which will allow the wind chill values to moderate.
Minimize exposed skin with hats, scarves and mittens or gloves. Be prepared for unusually cold temperatures and strong winds. Drive with care, especially along coastal routes exposed to outflow winds.
