I slipped on the ice again and kaboom down I went. The office I was going to had lots of pea gravel down. Unfortunately it was under 3 mm of ice and I didn’t clue in till I hit the sidewalk. Tremors were felt as far away as Portugal.

I guess the maintenance guy is from Portugal and has never heard of mixed ice mix and gravel.

I'm in the insurance business, and hearing about all these slip and falls due to ice (and then as a result, all the potential lawsuits) is precisely the reason it's so difficult to acquire snow removal coverage these days, and the outrageous pricing for it.
