Prospect Info: 2021 Leafs Board Prospect Rankings #10

1. Each poll will be open for 24 hours.

2. As we never have a consensus way as to which players are still considered prospects, we'll be using my way (at least for the first few polls). The player must be U24 and have less than 50 GP in the NHL. The "prospects" that are left off because of these rules are Joey Anderson, Brennan Menell, Adam Brooks, Joseph Duszak, Vladimir Bobylev, and Nickolai Chebykin.

3. At this time we'll stick to the top-20, but if we want to go to 25 or 30 (I believe the Leafs have just over 30 guys that are eligible) I'll definitely go further.

Wow, there’s a very high chance tverberg isn’t even the 17th-20th best prospect.

Ovchinnikov is a real wild card. Hopefully he gets a step up in terms of competition this year. Really hard to evaluate him in the MHL.

Miettinen. He could go higher too. Had a terrific D+1 and has an NHL shot already. Isn't bad defensively either

but SDA is interesting because he seems to play up to his competition
Ovchinnikov is also interesting, he may have the second highest ceiling of all of our prospects after Amirov, I see enough potential that he could be a top line player, but I know it is more likely he sees no NHL games.

At this point I feel like every guy is a long shot to be an NHLer, so I’m going almost pure upside, and I think these two are high upside picks.

Great depth. He also had a huge injury last season by none other than Pavel Datsyuk that didn't allow him to get that many games in the KHL.

Played well though, still has high potential if it clicks.
