Awful goalies (Even as a Pirates fan I say this) and awful forwards. Everything is as per tradition. I suppose this is a survive the year tournaments.

It's really weird for me when people phrase it like this. What are you comparing your team to, Canada? And if you are comparing yourself to actual relevant competition, is Dahm really the goalie that sets you back against it?

True and Blich declined....contract issues?

I thought i read somewhere that Nielsen wants to play. Hopefully Bjorkstrand wants too.

N.Jensen - Nielsen - Bjorkstrand
Bodker - Olesen - Meyer
Storm - J.Jensen - N.Andersson
From - Wejse - Bau Hansen

Pretty good actually.

There have been ups and downs, but in the absence of Andersen, Dahm has done more than enough to earn the starting job and the right to lose it.

Besides there's not a whole lot of other options. No Andersen and Sørensen is arguably the best of the Danish goalies playing in the Danish Elite League.

Frederik Dichow alongside Mads Søgaard look to be future , but Søgaard is likely going to finish the season in the AHL and Dichow has only played a handfull of games this season, and not a starter at this point.

True and Blich declined....contract issues?

Nothing official, but seems plausible.

lol Morten Madsen

I understand your reaction, but he is exactly the same age as Julian Jakobsen and Jesper Jensen, the two top centres outside of Alexander True. Denmark has a huge problem at centre. We only have Alexander True at a high enough level and at age 33 or younger. Peter Regin and Frans Nielsen are on their last hockey breaths as well (and not healthy now).

I have no idea why Denmark have Andreas Lilja as assistent coach. Dont get me wrong, he had a good career and knows his stuff, the problem is that he dont remember lots of stuff that happend yesterday (he said so himself in a interview) due to injuries to his head in his NHL career. Thank god Malmö Redhawks hired Pär Styf instead. Andreas Lilja should stay home and try to get healthy.

Best defensive core ever on the danish team. Amazing how much more stability that gives and our goalscore after five games has to be the best ever.

Tomorrow’s game against us is going to be one of the best games of the tournament I believe

I hope so. I would like to see what we can bring and that we have moved up a little bit towards the bigger nations. I still think Slovakia is a favourite for the win though.
