Jossi 15 points in 5 games? Forsberg, 6 goals in 5 games?
How about not taking penalties tonight.

Hope Stecher has a good game and QB has a goal...PP one would be sweet. Lias draws in and hope he has his best game of the year...if he doesn't. he probably won't play again.

I dont understand why TMac doesnt just put Vilardi and Andersson together. It worked last season, in camp this season, and in the AHL. I dont think he likes these players all that much whether its on the ice or off. He just doesnt seem to care about their success as he does for guys like Iafallo.

21-3 Nashville. Kings get their cheeks pounded with penalties and the typical shitty goaltending against the Preds. Pop open the cheap booze because this is gonna be a long one.

Gonna need some net front traffic to beat Saros. Loading up on perimeter shots isn’t a great plan tonight.

Nashville can score on the rush so keeping the puck down low on possession is more effective. If the Kings keep the shots against down and keep it a 2-1 game, they should be able to beat this team.

God mode Josi without Doughty in the lineup is rough. He always elevates his game against other elite defensemen. I’m feeling a Vilardi goal and an assist tonight though, and while that means absolutely nothing it at least helps me think positively.

Josi has MORE than twice as many points in the last 5 games than the Kings...

Something's gotta break soon, right?

So weird to be in 2nd with a laundry list of injuries, league worst special teams, sub-.900 goaltending, and no shooting.

How scary would this team be if even f***ing ONE of those things was even LEAGUE AVERAGE, never mind GOOD?

I don't understand alot of what Tmac is doing. With all the injuries now is the time to experiment, especially with the top line being MIA. I would try
Moore-Danault-Kempe
Byfield-Kopitar-Vilardi
Iafallo-Anderson/lizotte-Kaliyev
Grundstom-Lizotte/Anderson-kupari

Get wild, our offence cannot get much worse.

Yea putting Kempe with Danault might get him going a bit. I also liked a shift where Kempe Byfield and Kaliyev were somehow on the ice together and they had something going. Its really a good time to find some new combinations with all the injuries. Outside of Moore-Danault and Lemieux-Lizotte there hasnt been much in the way of absolutes in line combinations. Especially the powerplay. Tmac doesnt like to tinker at all.

Preds are icing a better team than us. No doubt about that. Nashville has also been hot lately.

Regardless of the fact that they played last night, this is absolutely a game the Predators should win.

It looks like we're going to get killed on special teams again.

For the Kings, a regulation loss here, and their playoff hopes start to dwindle. NOW would be a PERFECT time for our youth to step up and assert themselves as NHL players. Please surprise us.

I want Roman Josi to score a hat-trick.

Screw Makar; he gets way too much media attention and hype. Yeah he's good but Roman Josi deserves way more love and more importantly the Norris.

What a beauty.

If the top line could score again, it would go a long way towards winning.
