Just read on Czech media, that Pasta will get an A this season.. not sure if 100 percent relevant source

Bruins are rotating the 2nd A among Pastrnak, McAvoy, and Carlo I believe.

I'll wait until it's confirmed to add the Bruins' other A(s). I was thinking Carlo would be the second one for sure, but maybe they name more than just two.

I think A from Sabres is also Girgensons. Do Chicago have two C?

Hawks have just the one captain. Murphy does alternate with Cat, though.

My apologies. That was just a typo.

Do DeBrincat and Murphy alternate at home and on the road with Kane having the full-time A for all games?

So 6 teams without a captain. Four of which had a captain last season (Arizona, Buffalo, Calgary and Columbus), and the other two (New York and Ottawa) haven't had a captain in years.

Predictions for next captain?

Arizona: Jakob Chychrun
Buffalo: Dylan Cozens
Calgary: Matthew Tkachuk
Columbus: Boone Jenner
New York: Chris Kreider (or Lafreniere in a couple years)
Ottawa: Thomas Chabot

Who were the home and away ones last season between DeBrincat and Murphy?

Also, updated the OP with the announcement that Boone Jenner was named captain of the Blue Jackets today. Oliver Bjorkstrand, Gustav Nyquist, and Zach Werenski were named alternates. We'll have to see how they rotate them.

I believe it was Cat at home, Murphy on the road. Same as this season.
