If they'd hosted it in the US instead of Canada this year, I think it would have gone forward. That's disappointing they couldn't find a way to continue.Well butts.

100%. It's had to conceive how they possibly could have handled it worse. I feel terrible for all of the players who busted their butts to get here and then were put in an impossible position and then had rug pulled out from under them. Awful.IIHF really does not look good in this at all. Not hosting the tournament would’ve been understandable. Hosting it and keeping players in a makeshift bubble of sorts would’ve been understandable. Isolating COVID players and continuing on with the tournament would’ve been understandable. Cancelling the tournament after a few positive cases(which they had to expect) just seems like a really silly decision. Really from start to finish this was mishandled.
