As a Nr. 3 i would recommend Simon Latkoczy. There are rumors, he is the next big thing.

The u20 team is currently playing in a summer showcase tournament. Beat German u20 team 3-0, and Czech u19 team 3-2. Cajkovic and okuliar showing great connection as usual. They’ve always been good together on international stage.

I think that first line will do some damage, second line looks solid as well. Top 4 defense man could be good. No trouble getting through to quarters but we will need deadly power play to upset a top level team. 2021 world junior team looks very good.

I think we should have a pretty decent top 6. I am concerned about our defense, and the bottom 6 forwards. First line should be quite nice with reunion of Okuliar, Cajkovic and Kovacik.

Nemec is too young... Zekucia play senior league because quotes for young players, but he is not at the WJC level. In the offensive, Pauliny play only the lower league, but he is very smart player with skillful hands, i think he made WJC team. For me, Kolenic is surprise in slovak senior league, i watched every his game and he play great hockey. I think, more realistic squad for now is:

I agree I think nemec making the team is on lower scale. I don’t think Sojka should be anywhere near the team though. He’s just to slow, and unless he improved his skating he’s gonna get eaten up by other nations based on skating alone.

Cajkovic and Hlavaj will join team later since they are playing in North America but I am not sure about Simon Jellus.

And I’m assuming Fasko Rudas as well. Valigura I thought may be an interesting option but I think next year for him. Maybe Jellus doesn’t look all that good, who knows, I haven’t seen him play.
