2020 OHL draft

*Caveat that a ton will change with physical development and strength(Fantilli and Wright ahead of the pack in this regard), but some stand outs at this point: Kocha Delic, Paul Ludwinski, Isaiah George, Brody Crane, Wilson Farrow.

Lotta strong American prospects; Strong Alliance year too.

Ottawa has some talented players. David Goyette and Cedrick Guindon rank 1 and 2 in the league and probably in the province with over 3 PPG. Saw them at the early bird and at the Marlies tournament and they we’re really dominant and racking up the points.

Dman to watch closely are Jorian Donovan and Ryland Landon. Two smooth skaters with great vision.

In the ETA... Dalyn Wakely (Centre) leads the way for a powerhouse Quinte team... McCoy big shot RD also quite good from Quinte. Kingston has a really good D... Fitzgerald. Oshawa Nathan Poole is a big centre... good player.

Here's my starting 5 + Goalie for HEO and ETA

Heo
Goyete (F) Wild

Edward (D) from Richmond Hill is quite the player as well.

Coopers Matthews is the Quinte player I like. I think he's their most dangerous forward. Lots of upside with added size/strength, too.

Probably the fastest skater in the ETA. Don’t agree he’s the most dangerous, I still think that’s Wakely. But Matthews isn’t far off.

Quinte will be a power house next season for sure.

Here is my top 10 list of 2k4 OHL prospects.

1- Shane Wright ***
2- Adam Fantilli
3- Isaiah George
4- David Goyette
5- Dalyn Wakely
6- Lane Hinkley
7- Brice Cook
8- Charlie McCoy
9- Cedrick Guindon
10- Ty Nelson

Isaiah Miller is fun to watch. Great skater.

Nick DeAngelis should be ranked very high too.

Also going on record that Paul Ludwinski is very very good.

Quick update because I caught a JRC playoff game: That whole team is so impressive, but Buchinger stood out. So fast, clever, and skilled with the puck. When he fills out, he's gonna be complete handful for other teams.

Nathan Poole and Carson Christy on Oshawa both look good. Raine Nadeau on D looked like a solid two-way player as well

That whole Oshawa team is pretty good, which is bizarre cause i'm not used to good teams from here.

Correct on all. Kingston goalie Lalonde is awesome also. Quinte has more who could jump into the mix also from what I've seen.

Top 10 of the Ontario crop now that Wright has ES are:

Adam Fantilli
Isiah George
Harrison Ballard
Kocha Delic
Dylan Wakely
Lane Hinkley
Paul Ludwinski
Jackson Edward
Nick DeAngelis
Brody Crane

Not far off from my top ten. Certainly Ludwinski, Fantilli, Crane and George. Love DeAngelis, too. A ton of guys waiting on physical development who could shoot up and into this list. A couple Quinte guys in particular.

Buchinger is my #1 Ontario Dman as of right now.

Apparently Fantilli is making it know he won't be back in the GTHL next year and plans to go NCAA? That'd be a big loss for the 202o draft class

Mine is Tye Nelson of Jr Canadiens.
