Great just as I learned to Spell his name. Well at least he's not going to someone else in the East

Should have been the pick at 22. Insane that Minny gets Rossi and Marat.

Rossi and Khusnutdinov are very different types of picks for the Wild. They've had a good draft so far, and the Bonino deal was a haul for them.

I think the Rangers are about at the point where when trading, they'd rather add roster players or more mature, close-to-ready prospects than add draft picks to scoop up kids that are three, four years out.

Seriously don't want Strome long term but gotta find a way to bring him back for a year or two at most. Just the thought of replacing him with Some of these older centers getting bought out ugh

Yup. It would have been worth dealing him for an NHL likely center - anywhere from Lundell to Khusnutdinov.

At this point we truly are just in spitball territory, though. It is no longer a good idea to deal him just to deal him with what's left on the board. Unless he's part of a bigger deal, then bring him back for another year and try again at the deadline.

If they let him walk I truly won't understand that.

Yeah, I don't see Gorton trading into the 2nd round.

Got to imagine that NYR have a scouting record on Niederbach possibly for their late 3rd round pick since he played with Henriksson all last year.

Kid with some upside. I guess San Jose needs to take a little risk with very little in the prospect pool kind of like they did with Merkley 2 years ago

He will be gone by 91. maybe at 71/72 he would have been there.
