My god. First off McIlrath was a massive reach for 10. Schneider was ranked top 15, and a steady, tough minded defensemen that plays extremely well under pressure. Y’all need to stop reaching.

They wanted a skill guy whose brain could be turned to mush with one more concussion.

I'm not a fan of taking defensive defenseman in the first round. Those picks rarely work out. These kinds of players can also be had much later in the draft.
