I wouldn't expect a jersey number anytime soon. Last year the Rangers made us wait with Kakko until opening night so the MSG store could be the first place with them in stock. With the MSG shop currently closed due to COVID I wouldn't expect them to announce anything until they have a "online MSG store" setup where they can be the first to market.
