Giants have been flexed
I wouldn't mind ESPN dropping or reassigning Cimini, who seems to actively hate the team.I do not wish anyone to lose their jobs especially at this time but I am satisfied to see the Daily News cut Mehta, something which should have been done the moment he put out one story without properly attributing the person doing all the actual groundwork for him.
so he's a true Jets fan?I wouldn't mind ESPN dropping or reassigning Cimini, who seems to actively hate the team.
Haha. That was always the thing with him. He's clearly disgruntled and pessimistic, which makes him look like one of us, but even when the Jets would do something undeniably good (the two or three occasions ever) he would throw barbs into the story or thinly-veiled shots out of nowhere. He just came across as an aloof dick.so he's a true Jets fan?

Carp used to be the same way on the Rangers beat. He wasn't necessarily negative about the team but very condescending to people in the comments. He's gotten a lot better since going to The Athletic. That's probably a better platform for Cimini than ESPN anyway.
I thought of all the sports reporters in NY Isola was most the most contentious with the Knicks. Dolan has some odd media policies a d Isola is not the type to bite his tongue.Haha. I hear ya and as I mentioned, the Pats game is concerning but not as much as the Browns game. If Bill did rest his starters, it would be the first time I could ever recall him doing so in his 20 years coaching the Pats.
So tho his hatred for the Jets is well known, it really does fly in the face of everything he believes in and so I doubt highly that he sits Cam and the rest of his starters. If he did, sure that game gets scary but the Jets are so bad, the Patriots likely would still eek out a win. I don't even want to think about scenarios like that.
First things first...let's get blown out by the Seahawks...lol
Belichick doesn't want to lose to the Jets and he doesn't want to have a losing record. Cam wants to get a contract next season and Stidham wants to be the starter. The players still have a lot to play for. The Jets aren't going to be facing Curtis Painter.
Edge Rusher, one more LB (which they might have when Carter comes back next year as he was showing promise this year), and yes one more CB. But the CB might be taken care of if Mckinney can be as good as he is hyped up to be, they re-sign Ryan and move him over to CB. Holmes as been decent. Yiadom meh. Love has been sorta all over. Sucks Beal opted out. They have options.I might be getting a little ahead of myself, but it seems like the Giants are a CB and an edge pass rusher away from being a very good defense...
I'm kind of bummed that Baker is no more. I understand he was bad last year, but I would have liked to see how he did with better defense around him—and having Bradberry opposite him.Edge Rusher, one more LB (which they might have when Carter comes back next year as he was showing promise this year), and yes one more CB. Bottom line is a one legit edge rusher and they can be dominant imo
If the Jets were really trying to tank they would make the playoffs...There's no chance in hell the Jets make it a game tomorrow...right?
Good, I thought so and that there was nothing to worry about.
There is something tho a bit concerning about the Seahawks as they really haven't played well in a few weeks and that gives me a little bit of pause that it's going to be a blowout. I was originally thinking 45-17 something along those lines.
Now I'm thinking Jets could keep it within the 13 point spread. My revised feeling is Seattle 31...Jets 20. We shalt see soon enough
